„As of December 1st, we are going to have a new division in our offices, the Turkish Desk, in addition to the existing Asian Desk and Russian Desk. The head of Turkish desk will be Mr. Alper Özmert, who is a native Turkish speaker.Opening of the Turkish Desk is a very important break for us. Along with the new Desk, we will extend our ties to the world and primarily to Turkey. The Turkish Desk will be focusing on international trade as well as establishing new business relationships. And now, something about Mr. Alper Özmert"

Alper Özmert graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Law in 2002. He has studied master program in University of Minnesota Law School in the U.S.A. and was granted LL.M. title in international business law in 2010.

Alper mainly specialized in international business law, FDI, Mergers and Acquisitions, contracts law, financial law, employment law, copyright and IP law, entertainment law and commercial litigation.

During his professional career, Alper provided services mainly to multi-national clients, in particular, involved in numerous international transactions, among others, important cross-border mergers & acquisitions, start-ups by multinational companies. Furthermore, he provided services to multinational companies and organizations in particular in business law and business development matters.

Throughout his career, Alper gave numerous seminars to his clients and in international organizations particularly in business law, contracts law, international transactions and business development. He also played a substantial role for the preparation of the secondary legislation on factoring and factoring authorities in Turkey.

Alper has been admitted to the İstanbul Bar Association and Turkish Bar Association in 2003.

He speaks fluently Turkish, English and German.
