Partner, tax advisor
Zuzana is a tax advisor who enjoys challenges – preferably the kind with legal paragraphs. She has been navigating the world of numbers and laws for over 15 years and has been a partner at Schaffer & Partner since 2016. She specializes in corporate taxes, VAT, and transactions of all kinds, where she likes to find practical and understandable solutions – ideally the kind that don’t leave clients with their heads in their hands.
She studied Public Finance at the University of Economics in Prague, spending part of her studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where she not only improved her German but also gained deeper insights into tax systems. In 2009, she completed a postgraduate program in European Tax Law at Johannes Kepler University in Linz, earning the title LL.M. In the same year, she also became a member of the Chamber of Tax Advisors of the Czech Republic – and remains one with enthusiasm and dedication to this day.
Zuzana gained experience at the international consulting firm Vorlíčková & Leitner, where she eventually worked as a manager. Today, alongside her advisory practice, she actively participates in professional sections of the Chamber of Tax Advisors and contributes to discussions on the development of Czech tax legislation.
When she’s not diving into the details of tax laws, Zuzana enjoys traveling, playing the piano, and exploring architecture, culture, and gastronomy – ideally in a European capital.
