From September 2 to 4, 2019, a state visit to Turkey, led by Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček, took place. They were accompanied by a business delegation headed by Vladimír Dlouhý, President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board Mr.Martin Felenda and Vice – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Alper Özmert, of Czech-Turkish Joint Chamber of Commerce (CTJCC), were among the prevailing members of the business delegation. During the visit, in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK) business forums with B2B meetings were organized in the capital city of Ankara and Istanbul.
Mgr. Aleš Eppinger, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CTJCC, upon request, gave an interview on September 2, 2019 to ČT24 on the current situation of Czech companies in the Turkish market.
