With effect from July 1, 2023, Decree No. 191/2023 Coll. has come into force, in which the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs sets the rates of basic remuneration for the use of road vehicles and for meal allowances and fuel for the purposes of providing travel allowances.
The change introduced by this decree is only in the amount of the average diesel price, which in the original Decree No. 467/2022 Coll. was CZK 44.10 from January 1 of this year. This amount has now been replaced with CZK 34.40. All other rates remain unchanged.
The reason for this change is the constantly evolving price of fuel at gas stations, to which the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has already often responded to in the past by adjusting the rates.
