Managing Partner, Tax advisor, Auditor
Martin is a tax advisor who navigates the field of international tax law with the confidence of a pilot – quite literally. He is a founding partner of Schaffer & Partner and today not only leads the firm but also keeps it on course, even when tax regulations resemble turbulence. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague with a degree in engineering – and with a lifelong bond to numbers, spreadsheets, and laws. Since then, he has specialized in international taxation, mergers, acquisitions, and other joys most people prefer to leave to the experts.
Martin speaks Czech, German, and English – and is tax-fluent in all three. He is well known for his ability to explain even complex tax issues in a way you’ll remember faster than your card PIN.
In his free time, he enjoys golf and model aviation – from rockets to airplanes. He claims that here too, without precise calculation, nothing flies.
He loves traveling, especially to regions rich in culture and natural beauty – ideally where he can admire both landmarks and tax systems. He actively participates in professional conferences and keeps up with the latest trends in taxation and corporate finance. He is married and has three children, who have long since learned that “tax optimization” is not a dirty word.
