On July 1st, 2014, new regulation of the Ministry of Justice came in to force. The regulation concerns the remuneration and compensation of attorneys-at-law for provided legal services (so called "Attorneys' Tariff"). The amendment to the regulation aims to reduce the costs of legal representation in so called bagatelle (minor) claims. The new regulation reduces the compensation of the cost of the successful party's attorney, which is payable of the other party, if monetary value of the lawsuit does not exceed the amount of CZK 50,000.
