On April 1st, 2015, the President of the Czech Republic has signed a law, by which the necessary measures enabling the registration in the Commercial Registrar by a notary public will be taken. For entrepreneurs, this option brings two significant advantages: cost & time savings. The registration by a notary public will be significantly cheaper than the registration by a court itself. While a court will currently register a limited-liability company in the Commercial Register for a fee of CZK 6,000, a registration by notary public costs less than a half of a court fee (only CZK 2,700). Notaries public should be effectively able to carry out the registration in the Commercial Register probably beginning this May (originally it had been envisaged since January 1st, 2014).
