Prague will see more than 70 deaf young women and men from all over the world – the finalists of the MISS & MISTER DEAF WORLD & EUROPE & ASIA 2015 pageant. From 13 to 23 July, they will compete for the titles in the finals of the 15th jubilee year, which is not just about decorating the winners, but especially about integrating deaf young people into society.
The world finals will take place on 18 July 2015 from 7:00 p.m. in the Congress Hall Top Hotel Prague. The final evening will be hosted by the duo Lenka Vacvalová and Jan Čenský. The post of chairperson of the professional jury was accepted by Iveta Vítová, Czech Miss 2009. Patronage of the pageant was assumed by Petr Dolínek, Deputy Mayor of the Capital of Prague.
During the pageant, the finalists and winners of the Miss and Mister titles from 2013 and 2014 will also participate in three World Fashion Shows with an accompanying programme. At these fashion shows, more than 80 deaf models will present their national costumes and trendy clothes. World Fashion Show 2015 will be held on 15 July from 5:00 p.m. in the Černý Most shopping centre in Prague, on 20 July from 7:00 p.m. on the square in Přelouč, and on 21 July from 7:30 p.m. in the third courtyard of the State Castle and Chateau in Jindřichův Hradec.
