25. 8. 2015

Associate Professor JUDr., PhDr. Jan Wintr, Ph.D., Faculty of Law, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic, and Mgr. Patrik Koželuha, Schaffer & Partner, have recently published an article entitled 'Teleological Interpretation in Czech Case Law', featured in the latest edition of the international journal for legal research, The Lawyer Quarterly, (Vol. 5, No 2/2015). The article deals with the concept of teleological interpretation as one of the fundamental interpretative methods recognized by the Czech law on both theoretical and practical levels. Furthermore, the text provides an analysis of selected judgments and the role of the teleological interpretation in the formation of the final judgment of each case. The unabridged English version of the article can be found here: http://www.ilaw.cas.cz/tlq/index.php/tlq/article/view/149/133
