There are only a few days left to file an application to determine personal income tax as a lump sum for 2017

22. 5. 2017

The Ministry of Finance, together with the Financial Administration, is trying to meet its promises to reduce the administrative burden that personal income taxpayers have to face in order to properly meet their tax obligations.

For the 2016 tax period taxpayers were able to use a simplified tax return and now for the 2017 tax period there has been a significant extension to the option of using flat tax. If you meet the conditions (for example, a maximum annual income of 5 million CZK for the three previous tax periods) and are interested in determining personal income tax as a lump sum, you need to file an application with your local tax office by no later than 31 May 2017. The tax administrator must handle your application by 15 September 2017 and any applications submitted after this date will be disregarded.
