Attorney-at-law and founding partner Mr Aleš Eppinger presented at the 9th China Overseas Investment Fair on November 21-22 at China National Convention Center in Beijing. 9th China Foreign Investment Cooperation Fair was held with International Capacity Cooperation Forum and being the only major event in China the fair provided a great platform for Chinese entrepreneurs planning to go abroad and also foreign entities intending to attract Chinese investors.
During his presentation, Mr Aleš Eppinger focused on the introduction of the investment environment in CEE countries and on the comparison of key legal and tax regulation for foreign investors. The attendees learned about some useful hints how to structure their investment in CEE region, how to avoid possible legal/tax issues and how to deal with European businessman.
Schaffer & Partner exhibited in the International Zone. Chinese investors were highly interested in expanding their investments into Central and Eastern Europe. Visiting China was not only about fair. Partners and head of Asia Desk Moon Yong had met with potential investors in Shanghai, too. The meetings and the fair were very promising for the future. We believe it is just the beginning of profitable and long-term investments for the Czech Republic and China.
