Partner, Attorney-at-law
Šárka is a lawyer who moves through the field of law with the elegance of a dancer – even in cases where others would rather turn away.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and spent two semesters at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, where she later also completed a postgraduate LL.M. program in German law.
German culture is close to her heart, which naturally led her to our firm after her studies. She has been part of the Schaffer & Partner group since 2008 and became a partner in 2015.
Her areas of expertise include commercial and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, employment law, litigation, insolvency, and tax disputes – in short, everything that sounds complicated but makes sense when she explains it. She’ll tell you honestly what to expect, including the costs.
Thanks to her fluency in German and English, the international environment is a natural fit for her. Šárka is also a Gold Member of the international network IR Global, where she represents the Czech legal community and connects with professionals from all over the world. In international circles, she’s known not only for her expertise but also for never forgetting her smile at conferences (and her business cards – though these days, it’s more likely a LinkedIn QR code).
In her free time, she enjoys traveling – both in search of history and sunshine. Her suitcase always includes a swimsuit and a laptop, because keeping things under control is essential.
And since even a lawyer needs a reliable partner, Šárka is often accompanied at the office by her Bichon, Maylo – a four-legged colleague who may not understand legal paragraphs but has an excellent nose for good people. After all, a dog-friendly office makes for a pleasant workplace.
